The Turn of the Tide

The Tide Timetable today for the Emsworth and Nutbourne Channels was:
1:10 am High Tide
6:21 am Low Tide
1:19 pm High Tide
6:45 pm Low Tide

When the tide is low, there is mud and seaweed on the harbour floor with yatchs teetering on their anchors. Every six hours the tide turns and the harbour changes constantly with it. Some stretches of the coastal path become impassable at high tide so it is always wise to check the tide timetable to know when the tide is turning.
