Dropped by the railway station at Mt Victoria today, about 10kms from Blackheath. The original structures date from 1868 (as you can see), and it is beautifully kept, with greenery and flowers blooming along the platforms...cared for by 'ladies of Mt Vic' a friendly attendant told me. It houses a museum currently, and had offered accommodation to guest and railway staff for many years. www.MtVictoriansw is worth a google.
