Face It...

I mean, just look at that face! Who would ever guess that a winged creature slightly less than two inches long with such an unassuming and even Sweet Face could be a cold blooded killer! This is the feared Eastern Pondhawk. It ranges from Quebec and Maine south to Florida, west to Mexico and north to the state of Washington. It is an "aggressive and voracious species" that feasts on damselflies and other dragonflies, including other Pondhawks!
