ICELAND DAY 4

Today was a down day. It gave us chance to explore the town of Reykjavík.
#We had a walk up the Rainbow Road and enjoyed looking at the various craft shops.
#We then went up to the cathedral at the top of the hill and went to the top of the tower, which was by a lift not stairs.
# Because the sky was so clear the view over the town was amazing.
# Sue was delighted to buy another bit of pottery and Johnny was delighted for her (not!!). We stopped for a coffee in a novel coffee shop full of bits and bobs and a Star Wars themed loo; complete with the theme tune!!!
The Rev then went off for a massage and Johnny went back to the hotel…Sue and I kept exploring!!
# Later we met up with The Rev and went down to see the Viking structure at the sea wall.
# Sue had requested soup in a roll…and it was really tasty. Could have had a soup refill as there was lots of bread to soup!!!
We got back to the room early so after a few glasses and nibbles …
# Sue and I went for an evening stroll whilst the boys watched the film The Kingsman!!!
