There’s something about roast dinners…

I had a thought today while I was stirring gravy, making sure the veg didn’t boil over and answering random child questions…

Roast dinners have always been a joy to me. Don’t get me wrong, I hate juggling the timings and all the clearing up. But there’s something about watching my family (dog included!) enjoy a roast dinner I’ve spent hours preparing. It’s an act of love for me. Crispy roasties, thick gravy and juicy chicken is my way of showing my family how much I love them. Odd I know.

Anyway… now to begin the mountainous task of clearing up the bugger!
