Take me to the bridge

We are here in Dublin on an intelligence gathering mission of sorts, attending the National Office of Clinical Audit conference to see if we can infer why they aren''t engaging with us.

The conference was pretty well organised (although not, I feel the need to say, as good as ours), but the speakers were excellent. In fact, maybe we could invite a couple over to our conference next year.

Probably my favourite speaker was a chap talking about machine learning and large language models. There's so much snake oil on this area but he he was very smart, informative, and bullshit free (as far as I could tell).

From what the speakers were saying, I really couldn't understand why we've had no traction with them. Maybe I just need to be a bit more patient...

Anyway, we left late afternoon, and found a nice pub where we could sit and read our books for a while, and in the evening we found another Italian, and enjoyed our last evening in Dublin (at least for this trip!).

This bridge, by the way, is the next one along from Ha'penny Bridge as you head upstream. I couldn't find its name but I did notice that the image on Google Maps was taken before these coloured hoops were added.
