Signs of life
Last year we coppiced the overgrown hedge under our living room window. In amongst it was a runner from the cherry tree that had to come out. There were a few shoots, and this one was about a foot high so I transplanted it with about eight inches of runner (cherry tree root) in the space left in the front garden from where we lost the apple tree.
Today it is showing signs of life, so hopefully we will shortly have a new cherry tree in the front garden.
Rugby again today. Italy took a bit of a thrashing.
