Geese

These geese have been at Fairlands Lakes for over two years now. No one knows where they came from. They just appeared overnight and have been there together ever since.
I am one of the very few who knows their story. There were these two farmers who did not get on at all. Lots of bad blood over the years, but still they carried on working side by side. Their farms were next to each other, but they hated each other.
One of the farmers bought six geese to fatten up for Christmas, but they kept escaping into the other farmer’s field. After this had happened a few times, the other farmer rounded up all six, put them in his van and took them to Fairlands Lakes.
Sadly, two of them have been killed by dogs, but the others are doing just fine.
