Sunshine … eventually
We slept in this morning so drove to the Farmers’ Market to make a few purchases then had brunch when we arrived back home. It was cold this morning and eventually warmed up, but the sun didn’t appear until mid-afternoon. After brunch we walked through the Oamaru Public Gardens to Mitre10 to buy some bits and pieces we needed then walked back home. This was followed by time in the garden in the sunshine. Lovely!
After supper I emptied the wardrobe in the third bedroom, as A the painter sent a text to say he’ll be back on the job tomorrow.
I took a couple of photos as we walked through the gardens, managing to capture a butterfly and a bee on the same flower. Our brunch consisted of eggs from our blipper friend, Mima, on homemade sourdough bread with home-grown tomatoes, herbs and a nasturtium flower. Delicious!
