In Piam Memoriam Professor Mick Aston

I woke up this morning and turned my iPad on to see if Nelson Mandela was still alive. There was nothing to indicate he had died but I was shocked to find that Mick Aston is no longer with us.

Mick is a hero to Clare and me. We have watched nearly every episode of Time Team. After taking a degree in history, Clare took further studies in archeology and might well have become an archeologist had the opportunities been greater.
