Better Than a Rain Dance...

...or washing the car -- generally considered the most effective way of stimulating rainfall.

After I assembled our new patio furniture on Friday, we enjoyed our first use at dinnertime. We haven't used it since then for the following reasons:

(a) still wet after rain, or
(b) rain imminent, or
(c) raining, or
(d) too cold, or
(e) combination of (d) plus one of the others.

I tried to buy a rain cover when we bought the furniture, but they'd sold out a couple of days before we got to IKEA. The seat cushions were also out of stock. I checked the stock at the Seattle store online Saturday, and both items were available. Mr. Mole kindly went to IKEA for us and was able to get the cushions, but the rain covers were gone.

Fortunately for us, C's sister Ch lives near one of the three IKEAs in Texas (yes, Texas is that big), and enjoys going there. If the website is correct (big if) she'll buy a cover and mail it to us. That will make the rain stop!
