Kandinsky exhibition at Art Gallery of NSW

We walked to Manley in sunshine and wind, a tree had split and fallen on the path overnight ( the wind had been howling).
We stopped at messinas for an ice cream (rhubarb and pear) to compare it with Anita’s gelato ( they were equally delicious). Then we took the ferry into Sydney and walked to the Art Gallery of New South Wales, via the Royal botanical gardens where we pottered through the cool the rain forest bit with huge leafed plants and then amazing huge golden barrel cacti.
We went to see the Kandinsky exhibition. It was really interesting to see how his style changed over the decades.
We walked to Chinatown where it was extremely crowded and a great atmosphere. It’s the year of the dragon starting today. We ate the most delicious meal in paddy’s market at Mr Meng, I had a bowl of beef noodles with chop sticks and a wooden Spoon. The taste was amazing and spicy. We bought some cakes at the Chinese bakery, custard pie selection which we will eat tomorrow.
We took the bus back, arriving in time for a glass of wine or two, camomile tea and viewed lion dancing on you tube from last new year( same venue) as we’d missed seeing it whilst we were eating Chinese!
