Old & New
We went for a good walk this morning, still trying to get our bearings.
We ended up by Kings Cross St Pancras having gone down Caledonian Road, across Regents Canal and getting our step count up.
Having used these two stations many times over many for years, it’s funny that we’re now living within walking distance from them.
One of the things I love about walking around London is even on a busy main road, look around and there’s often something interesting to see.
The blip is off a tiny little crescent, Keystone Crescent, literally 5 minutes walk from King’s Cross. With its pretty painted doors and a perfect crescent shape, it really took my eye this morning. I did tweak it in photo editing, it was such a grey day.
I also like how old meets new with the modern glass building towering above.
Had our lovely neighbours from the flat below up here for dinner tonight. They were so kind to us on moving day - they invited us to eat with them and the next evening too.
