Preparing patchwork

I didn't decide to go to parkrun until less than an hour before I had to go out. It was a dreich day, though at least not too wet or windy, and I thought going to parkrun would get me out. I did some extra to get some more distance in for my virtual challenge and bought a snack on the way home!
After lunch I had a phone call from Mr Rat who's finding it very hot but he has a very comfortable place to stay for the first few days and started on a patchwork project using up odds and ends of fabric.
