COYS = Come on You Spurs.

Today I went to watch Tottenham Hotspur play Brighton and Hove Albion. 

Spurs have had many injuries this season and players away at the Asian and African Cups so today is the first time we have had pretty much everyone back and injury free.

We definitely looked like we hadn't played together for a while. It wasn't an easy watch and it was 1-1 up until the penultimate minute of the game. And we got a very last minute winner. 

I have a headache, sore throat and my ears are ringing!

Being at the game today also meant meeting up with my friend Dave. He is our friend from church and used to be my youth leader. He and his family are beloved family friends still.
He was a friend of Dad.

We went for a coffee and snack in a local coffee shop after the game, to wait until some of the crowds had dispersed before getting the train home. Dave and I can talk forever about life and God and all sorts.
