Remembering...

Have been looking through some old photos this afternoon, remembering. Aunty K never married, not that she didn’t have any proposals, several in fact. She spent her life working around the world, Paris, Zambia and Vanuatu being her favourite postings. She loved visiting London which is where she met up with Mum every year to celebrate their birthdays. She loved classical music and sponsored the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. She loved cats. She loved Champagne. So this evening I’ve opened a bottle and am raising a glass of Champagne to my dotty Godmother. To Aunty K.
