Mix and match

A quiet day, reading the paper, doing a bit of sewing.

We’ve also been watching a red kite circling the orchard, swooping down and retreating again, deciding eventually that it didn’t have enough room to pick up the pigeon in its talons and gain height without getting caught up in  the apple trees.  See extra

The Scotland/France match was good to watch and Scotland were very unlucky to lose because the try at the end of the match wasn’t definitively proven to have been grounded.

England/Wales is now under way.

Luke finished his cancer treatment yesterday and rang the bell.  Such a relief.  He will go for check-ups once a month for a year and then once every two months for the second year.  Still on medication but off the steroids and chemo.  He’s been amazing and still only 12.
