Goth
This is a really interesting book that I’m about two thirds of the way through. It’s not really a history as such, more musings and interpretation of the late seventies punk era from which Goth sprung and then more about how it evolved in the 80s and 90s as it became a significant subculture. It’s written by an original member of The Cure, so his take on things is fascinating and fully resonates with me. I really like the music of the bands he writes about and can remember a lot of what he discusses.
