Juvenile tui

A visitor over the past few days. He does not have the little white bauble on his neck yet and must be quite hungry because he tried the fruit salad I made for the sparrows. They use their tongue to feed so he could not hack some flesh from the apple and must have licked the sauce left by the sparrows. I put out a bit of sugar water today and he was back several times! Totally ignored the fruit salad and stuck to the sugar water! Hope it helped him!
