Green frog

I found him in the garden this morning. His green colour was so intense he looked almost luminescent. His skin looked quite leathery, so I suppose he doesn't mind the sharp spikes on the succulent he is hiding in. An hour later he didn't appear to have moved at all. I wondered why he didn't hide in the undergrowth, but I suppose his protection is the combination of changing colour and remaining absolutely still. I hope it works for him.
