Pacific Spirit Park

The University of British Columbia is on the end of a peninsula, and separated from the rest of Vancouver by a large forested park called Pacific Spirit Park. The park has many wide walking paths and is full of 100 year old, second growth trees.

We enjoyed a pleasant walk before going to a basketball game at UBC. In the extra, a very happy coach (in brown) walks towards her ecstatic team as they congratulate each other after just defeating the number four ranked team in Canada for their 14th consecutive win! They are virtually guaranteed second place in their league with one game remaining,
