LUNAR NEW YEAR’S EVE
My friend & I really like Vietnamese food, so,
before she arrived to play Canasta, I
picked up steaming bowls of Pho.
While at the restaurant, I noticed they had decorated for the Lunar New Year, one of the most important celebrations in Asian culture. Today is their Lunar New Year’s Eve, which is a day of celebration. My Blip
shows a decoration & a beautiful display of flowers. Tomorrow begins the Year of the Dragon.
These yellow flowers are Forsythia blooms,
which bring back fond memories, for me. After a cold Winter, they were the first shrub to bloom. Once they bloomed, Spring
was announced.
