A Chilly Day

I did a few errands, including picking up pansies to plant in my back deck planters. I had a good long walk which included swinging by my old garden to see what was blooming and found these lovely and reliable crocus.

Late this afternoon I picked up my granddaughter - she’s spending the night with me. We went to my golf club to get pizza - they make a terrific wood-fired pizza. She loves sitting in the Grille and drinking lemonade while we wait…which we did. After dinner she was so tired that she retreated to her room, which is where she is now, cuddled up and playing with her tablet. She’s often super tired by Friday night, after a long week at school. Always such a delight to have her here!
