Colours

I've been wittering on lately about a certain knitwear designer and his way with colour.  But, when it comes down to it, what glorious colours we see around us.  I mean, who'd a thought that a bright orange would go with a neon pink.

The fly is a large hoverfly, Eristalinus spp seen commonly in Australia - and don't worry, they won't kill you, and they won't even come inside the house.  They are a nectar eating species, and ... check out those eyes!  I sometimes wonder what they can see through eyes that are so brightly coloured.
