Shiny
I slept well last night, but I stayed home today, nursing my bruises and resting, trying to prepare myself for all the medical things still to come and trying to remember a time when I was happy. It was a very long time ago.
I talked with Lex for a while this afternoon, remembering all the things we used to do together when we were younger and able to walk long distances and have fun. We particularly miss going to the theater and ballet. We used to have an annual subscription for Pacific Northwest Ballet, but had to stop when I could no longer manage the stairs at the theater. We may try to go to one ballet performance and splurge on orchestra seats this Spring.
This pretty tinsel heart was a doorway decoration on my hall. It's back to dialysis tomorrow and the added pleasure of two Hepatitis B shots.
