Chevrons
What a lovely day. High of 57. Almost balmy.
Ice melting around the fallen willow tree has opened up a small pool. It's here I've seen the muskrats at times. Perhaps the enormous trunks hold onto heat and radiate it, like those storage radiators we had in my childhood.
I was drawn to the diagonal lines in the wood and their reflections. That and the rich colour in the sunlight. A tricky one to process though, those highlights can burn out easily.
