WOMAN in GOLD

This afternoon A/C & I went to the film , showing a different film every month at church, today was the 2nd time it's started with light lunch of soup & roll.
The film was Woman in Gold starring Hellen Mirren & Ryan Reynolds , basically about a painting commissioned by Maria Altmann's ( a Jewish girl & their family) uncle to paint his wife when she was 25yrs old.this was stolen by the naźis along with many other pocesstions Maria hired a lawyer to help her recover these processions. After many court appeals they were successful. A lovely film worth watching.
