Nature's Confetti

Argh! Frustrating to write an entry and then lose it all!
Essentially a morning of 24-7 admin and essay research... An invite to lunch with the wonderful Todd. We went to a little Peruvian place in town. A scenic walk home where I enjoyed these fallen bougainvillea. Then an unexpected time with one of the homeless guys, Justus. He needed lunch so we went to a cafe where he invited me to sit with him... I was going to be British and leave him in peace, but it occurred to me he spends the majority of his time alone. We had such a special time. I enjoyed getting to know him better.
A quiet rest of the afternoon with the kids... I've felt a bit out of sorts the past few days, so an early night too! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The warm dry library on a wet drizzly day. 
2) A proper catch up with Todd. 
3) Getting to know Justus better. We always chat in the street, but it felt special to sit down and be totally unrushed.
