Sports Day

A tense and nail biting morning at school sports day. Alf and Poppy are in red house who have finished second to green house for the past few years. To say there is a grudge would be a little understatement.

Anyway once again Green were victorious (well done), but Red gave it their all, including a stunning year 3 relay race. Here are Poppy and Daisy celebrating their part in the win.

The highlight was the tug of war, Red beat Green in the final I think I shouted myself hoarse!

Thanks for your concern yesterday, Robbie's (H's mum) broken hand is worse than we thought, might have to have surgery. Jack (Al's boy) is on his way home hopefully well on the mend.

Our medical fun today was H going back to see the ENT consultant about the Meniere's diagnosis, there is a small chance it might be something called 'Semicircular canal dehiscece' which is treatable with surgery. Another scan later this week will hopefully find this to be the cause. Fingers crossed please.

Finally, at the end of sportsday the headteacher announced they had just had a call from Ofsted, inspection tomorrow!!! eeeek
