A rose in winter

You would hardly believe that it is winter given the current weather but nonetheless it is unusual to see a rose on a bare branch at this time of the year. This morning I prepared a service for the next time I am officiating and then in the afternoon travelled down to Saint Estève for our match. I did not expect my doubles match to be decisive but one of our best players surprisingly was beaten so it was a good job that we won the doubles and therefore the match.
