View North

A colder night, so a lot more frost than yesterday. Not much sun, but a biting easterly breeze coming off the North Sea. Had a medical appointment at midday. Walking home in to the that wind was not very pleasant.

A busy afternoon at work. I was well wrapped up for the afternoon walk up the Braid Hills. Occasional light flurries of snow. Views locally were fine, but there wasn't much light. the cold wind meant no standing around trying to get the best shots. In the blip, Edinburgh is in the foreground, the tall spire is the Tolbooth Kirk, which forms part of the Festival Hub. Then the Firth of Forth, and Kirkcaldy on the north shore of the firth.

The snow showers got heavier in the evening, but no lying snow, just cold dampness.
