Bullfinch

Up quite early this morning and spotted this Bullfinch sharing the feeder with a Goldfinch both having an early breakfast.

At that time the weather, although cold, wasn’t too bad but as sis and I headed east the weather just got colder, wetter and windier. A welcome stop at Loch Leven’s Larder for coffee.

We couldn’t take our usual road to Elie, roadworks and a rather lengthy diversion brought us down to the coastal road from St Monans.  The waves were amazing and worth a closer look so we headed to the car park at Ruby Bay which is just behind the harbour ……. had we gone to the harbour we would have been soaked.
