Seal beach

We headed over to Aberdeen today to meet up with the student. It was bitterly cold but bright and sunny so we went up to Newburgh beach for a walk.
The seals were sunning themselves across the other side of the estuary from us. Must have been at least 200 spread over several groups. They wallowed around occasionally getting grumpy as they got in each others space. Lots of wails and moans - quite an eerie sound.
