Sew Boring Blip

This is a boring blip today. When I’m stressed I sew. I have sewn more tissue covers. Bad week this week. As you know from 23 January blip I’ve had issues at work with a Ward Manager who dislikes me for no apparent reason and I get no support from her.

She has made my life on the Ward very uncomfortable for almost a year. Silence is golden and I’m excluded from meetings and updates. I do not exist in her eyes.

There is only so much I can take and went home home sick yesterday. I’ve got to the stage where I don’t want to be at work due to the atmosphere and childish behaviour.

For 4 happy years I have worked on a Gynae ward and loved it. Then a new ward manager arrived last year with attitude.

From next week I will be moving to the Children’s Unit. My overall boss was concerned as to the way I was being treated and offered me a new ward today working with 2 other ward clerks. I don’t have to go but will as I don’t do conflict and atmosphere. There will be less stress as I did over my grade working on Gynae. I shall miss Gynae.

Hope your week is better then mine and yes I have put in for early retirement for end of the year.
