Another nice day actually quite hot, if you were trying to work!
These are little rowing boats (tenders) which boatowners use to row out to their bigger boats which are moored out in the bay.
Basically they are tied to a long loop which goes out into the bay and through a ring on a sinker.
That way, they can pull one of the rope to send the dinghy just away from the beach for safety or, conversely bring it in ready for use.
When you walk along the edge of the stone jetties you can see many metal rings hammered into little fissures probably by fathers and grandfathers who used the same traditional methods.
