Have a seat

A couple of days ago, I got a call from the guy who does my orthotics. In December, I had tried on some HOKA shoes that he sells. The only  pair in my size was a really pale pastel, wouldn't take long to get them filthy in the places I walk. He ordered some in different colours, and I got a call a couple of days ago saying that they had arrived. I went in today to try them on, no obligation to buy them. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes, but oh, are these a treat for my feet! There were two choices of colours and I decided on a blue pair, likely will get dirty quite quickly too but won't show the dirt as much. Here's a photo of them.
One of our friends had raved about HOKA shoes a few years ago and I've tried to find a pair ever since. He has similar issues with his feet. I'm so glad that he recommended them and that I finally found a pair!
The chair in the photo is in front of another business in the same complex as the orthotics and shoe shop.
Extra: saw this mug in the hardware store and liked the message, even though the lyrics aren't quite correct.  :-)
