Step 1

Started the day early with some laundry, then cleared the kitchen and got down to some admin, shopping list writing and email clearing. Wrote myself a new to do list and then a call from Trailfinders meant I found out the tickets had been issued so I could get in and choose seats. There followed an hour’s faffing about with passwords, frozen websites and general annoyance and I ended up abandoning it and going down to Dovecot to meet CR for lunch. She wasn’t on best form so good to hear she’s going to have some time off after the study trip she’s doing next week. Talked Mannerism, tapestries, knitting, mosaic making and travel whilst we ate our sandwiches.
Did some food shopping on the way home then was relieved to find the airline website worked straight away when I tried again. Made some amaretti biscuits and chocolate mousse for supper tomorrow night and then started on the first day of marmalade prep (a la Munroist's recipe). Took blooming ages to cut the fruit and pick out and soak all the pips, but it’s all done now ….till tomorrow!
Had supper then watched some of the new One Day series on Netflix….Old College and Arthur’s Seat getting a lot of exposure in the first episode!
