Bright spot

As with most of the UK, it's been pouring with rain here all day so I was glad it was Abstract Thursday #AT450 and I didn't have to venture out to get a suitable photo. I do enjoy this challenge, particularly if I am able to create something that is truly abstract but which actually looks at least a little bit decorative. Thanks Ingeborg, as ever, for hosting.

The extra is from yesterday afternoon – I went into town to get a vaccination (which didn't go ahead because the IT system at Boots was up the spout). I spent half an hour or so crouched close to the ground in Senate House Passage, waiting for someone bright and cheery to come past. Most people seemed to be wearing grey or black, adding little to the scene, but this young lady fitted the bill perfectly.
