Staying local

Housework and a run and then the best bit was collecting my friend JL who has just returned from a long stint back in the States.

I took her to my favourite lunch place where we spent 3 hours trying to catch up on many months. It was nice too to sit next to, and chat to, the same man I sat next to last week (when I came with Dot.T), who was still reading the same book “I am Pilgrim”. I’m going to try sitting next to him another day and strike up a 3rd conversation.
