At the edge of a glacier

On of the last days at Iceland. We had rented a car and of course had to visit all the tourist attractions.

Here is a pic from the border of the glacier. It was quite remarkable. We could see from far away the huge white blanket that covered the horizon. On summertime we could walk on the area that was covered by ice on the winter.
