harsh return

Laney and I left for our afternoon walk in balmy sunshine. I even thought about leaving my coat at home and just walking in my long-sleeved shirt. I'm so glad I did not do that. Twenty minutes into the walk, the wind came up, the clouds rolled in, and it started to spit snow even while there was still blue sky!
I don't envy the weather forecasters here in Colorado.
