Andrews Mill
Andrews Mill dominates Comber, this image in a tight shot from what was the main entrance. The flax spinning mill has ceased operation but is still in the Andrews family ownership and the mill buildings are now luxury apartments. Andrews is a big name in Comber, Thomas Andrews was Northern Ireland's second prime minister from 1940 and a different Thomas Andrews was the designer of the ill-fated Titanic. So the family were involved in flower milling, flax milling and shipbuilding.
