chain
The chain and cable for the chandelier arrived. The chain pliers worked really well and shortening and attaching the chain was easy. Getting the wires through the hole in the central pipe was a little bit of a faff and took two of us. Once threaded through attaching the wires was straight forward. I used one of the chain links to attach the lamp canopy to the hook in the ceiling. Finally, Max attached all the bits of crystal that had come off. We now only have two of the glass panels to reattach. It's hanging now (see extra). The LED lights are nifty, you can turn down the brightness to 50% and 25% by switching it off and on.
I am really pleased with it. I remember when I was little it was hanging above the dining table. The chandelier was reflected in the spoons and looked like spiders.
