Wednesday: Potting On

A pleasant morning, blue sky, no wind and not raining either :-))
Had a lazy breakfast, then coffee whilst watching the birds eating the sunflower hearts.

Had a walk around the garden, definitely a feeling of plants growing again after the long cold winter. Cleaned one of the sunflower feeders - those birds are very messy eaters!!

Checked the cuttings I’d taken of Anthemis punctata and found they’ve made good roots in the cells so potted them on into small terracotta pots and they’re now having a holiday in the greenhouse :-) so pleased these small plants are growing because this is a plant with so many memories -

Weather turned grey and overcast after lunch, temperature was dropping to 6°C but I was resting so not too bothered …
