woofer walking
Spotted these five kayaking brave hearts (sooner them than me on this cold grey day) from the canal bridge by Sandford lock this morning when Ralph and I were out and about with our dogs. We wanted the dogs to meet before I visit Ralph in Holland-on-sea as we weren't sure how they'd be together. Pip is a very lively not quite 4 year old border terrier with boundless enthusiasm and Rufus was a bit overwhelmed by her exuberance. However, by the time we were homeward bound after our long excursion that included squirrel hunting on the green and exploring Brook End Gardens as well as going to the canal, Pip was much calmer and Rufus less wary (extra).
Leaving the dogs in their safe places, Ralph and I went to the Plough on Springfield Road - a Harvester pub - for a much deserved and really rather tasty lunch. The rest of the afternoon and this evening is home alone , entertained by my marvellously monstrous new smart TV.
