Sister Trouble

Another cat-centric day. I had to drive Rani to the vet again, just to check on her condition after yesterday’s surgery. She passed the test and doesn’t have to go back, unless there’s a problem with her health.

But there was a problem with her sister. Chaiyya didn’t recognize her anymore after she returned from the vet, probably because of the different smell. So whenever the two cats met in the house, Chaiyya hissed at Rani or ran away from her. 

So I tried to get them as close together as possible several times, with bribes of course (liquid snacks for Rani, crunchy ones for Chaiyya), and stroked them both to mingle their scents. It took all day, but now they have made peace again.

Apart from cat drama, a day to stay indoors - very rainy, windy and dark. 
There’s a pot of pumpkin soup on the hob, to match the autumnal feeling.
