The Knife Angel

Along with Yorkshirebred reccied a future Bus Pass Walk to Leeds to see The Knife Angel - a 20ft sculpture made from over 100,000 seized blades - some arriving with blood traces and others in police evidence bags at British Ironwork Centre where it was designed by Alfie Bradley to raise awareness of the lives lost to knife crime - some of the blades engraved by victim’s families - all now sterilised and blunted - a thought provoking and sobering viewing - it is currently travelling throughout the country

A serious blip for me - no doubt by the time TBPW’s visit some more lighthearted attractions will be added and my cough and cold long gone
