Summer at last!

Went out for a walk this morning - it was so hot I ended up with my thin coat tied round me! Quite busy along the local stream with people cutting back hedges alongside the caravan park. They were wearing ear protectors for quiet sounding hedge cutters which I thought was a bit over the top!!

Trying to cut back through to the residential roads was fun as they are allowing the nettles and brambles to grow all over the footpath - I was glad I had full length jeans on or I would have been stung. Lots of nice flowers still around, but I chose the photo of the horse as it illustrated the brightness of the morning. Will be watching Wimbledon this afternoon, so I feel I've made the most of the day.
