Survivor

Went along to Lyon & Turnbull at Powderhall Road in the afternoon to view the books and maps auction material; most of that area is now new flats and offices, but this brick house has remained .. there's a lot of local history at edinphoto but nothing specific about no 27.  

Govtech meeting at the Portrait Gallery earlier.  A much brighter day, concomitantly colder. Seeing flakes of snow this morning, 7 Feb.
