Rocky Mountain

Jill and I walked Frida for an hour as she couldn’t come up the Rocky Mountain Track with our friends and us today.(No dogs allowed).
We walked to the Wānaka Lookout point (view in the photo) , which was super. It was quite a hot walk in 27 degrees! Fortunately, the steepest part is under trees. Diamond Lake is in the extra and the Lookout much further up the hill.
The views were well worth the effort.
I’m off cooking duties tonight - going to one of our favourite wee cafes for wholesome food. If it’s too crowded, we can bring the food home - so great to have that option.
